       We are a union dedicated to serving the members, community and working people. The  Teamsters Union is comprised of working people committed to the continual improvement of their jobs, wages and benefits.  This is accomplished by negotiating strong contracts between both the Union and Employer.

     Teamsters Local Union 173 has been serving Manatee, Sarasota and St.Lucie Counties for over 65 years.  We serve working people through representation at the local, state and federal levels.  The membership works together as a whole making it possible to serve working people, protect working people and improving the lives working conditions of working people!
